This notice explains what happens to your information when you use sixthstrand.com, including registering for a workshop, requesting a call or applying for a Venture Build.
The short version
- We only collect what you give us in our forms, and we use it to run the workshop, reply to you or review your application.
- You only get the JBJ Letter if you choose it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- We use no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
- We never sell your data.
Who we are
Sixth Strand and sixthstrand.com are run by Josefine Bin Jung, who is responsible for your data (the “controller” under UK data protection law). Questions or requests: josefine@sixthstrand.com.

These providers handle data for us under data processing terms that limit them to our instructions. The LinkedIn and Instagram links are plain links: nothing is sent to those sites unless you click them.
Workshop registrations and newsletter sign-ups are stored with Kit (ConvertKit LLC, United States) to send you the emails you asked for, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, so there is no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to get a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email josefine@sixthstrand.com and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. If you live in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this notice
We’ll update this notice when the way we use data changes, and change the date at the top.
